Education has always been a central focus for Dr. Michaels. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine. She did her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas.

Dr. Michaels performs women’s health care with a strong emphasis on prevention and wellness. When a patient encounters a gynecologic need, she develops a customized treatment plan to address the issue and promote optimal health. Patient education is central to her practice, and she ensures that each woman is fully aware of the pros and cons of all treatment paths before making a decision.

Minimally invasive surgery is an area of focus for Dr. Michaels, and she is highly skilled at leveraging today’s advanced medical technology to improve patient outcomes and speed the healing process. She also has extensive experience in traditional surgical procedures, and can address the full scope of gynecologic needs.

Dr. Michaels is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is also a Fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She speaks both English and Thai, and can provide care in either language.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Michaels spends time with friends and family, including her two young daughters. She also loves to travel and cook during her free time.
